Liz Santos consults with credit union boards and executives on compensation matters. This includes total compensation and rewards, scorecard development, and succession planning. She also supports mergers and acquisitions. Her experience includes designing executive compensation surveys at national and state levels, then distilling the trends to help credit unions make better decisions.
For more than twenty years, Liz has served credit unions in various capacities, including staff professional, trade association executive, business partner, and of course, member. Her financial services background also includes marketing for national and regional banks. She is a national speaker (NAFCU, CUNA, CUES, DCUC) on compensation matters.
Liz earned a BS in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. She volunteers in her community, focusing on housing and food insecurity issues. She recently received her Master Gardener certification and educates the public on sustainable gardening. She also serves as a volunteer grant reviewer for the Mayor’s Office on Latino Affairs. Liz resides in Washington, DC with her husband Michael and felines Charlie and Rosie.
