The mission of The Sheeter Group is to provide retirement and employee benefits to credit unions.

Our goal is to provide credit unions with the information required to make informed decisions about their benefits programs.

We are committed to treating our credit union clients the way we would want to be treated, with respect and integrity.

Why did our clients select the Sheeter Group over other benefit providers? Because our philosophy is genuinely different. We are a service organization. Each of our plan designs is customized based on the credit union, the executive, and the situation. Yes it is much more effort. But having happy clients who tell their colleagues about us and look forward to retirement is worth it. 
 

Our Team

Andrew Sheeter
President

Andrew Sheeter is the founder and President of The Sheeter Group. Andrew brings over fifteen years of experience in financial services to The Sheeter Group. Andrew worked for Benmark, Inc. for eight years as a Senior Benefit Consultant designing Executive Benefit Plans for credit unions. 

Andrew left Benmark to create The Sheeter Group to focus exclusively on the retirement needs of the credit union market.

Andrew earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tiffin in Tiffin, Ohio.

Andrew resides in Windermere, Florida with his wife, Isabel, and two daughters Sofia and Halle. Andrew has been active in volunteering for Junior Achievement, the Atlanta and Orlando Humane Societies, and works with several charities in El Salvador assisting poor and disabled women and children.
 

Elaine Boyd
National Business Development Manager

With roots deep in the credit union world, Symitar veteran and Executive Recruiter Elaine Boyd brings to The Sheeter Group expertise on credit union trends, a broad network of marketing contacts, and an enduring affection for the credit union philosophy of people helping people. 

As a former Account Manager with Symitar, Elaine’s clients often asked her about available talent when looking to fill senior roles. She had a sense of which executives might be looking and helped many people make connections. 

With so many friends in the industry, Account Management led naturally to Recruiting, Retention and Elaine founded CU Executives, Inc. Her relationship with The Sheeter Group was born when she looked for a client-focused business who insists on service first. 

As National Business Development Manager, Boyd tracks and evaluates market trends, identifies business opportunities, and oversees the marketing effort of The Sheeter Group

Based in San Diego, Elaine is also a regular columnist for CU BUSINESS Magazine, a nationwide publication for industry executives.
